June 2023: We now integrate directly to Skoda's EVs

We now integrate directly to Skoda Enyaq and Skoda Citigo-e. If you already use the app with a Skoda EV, then it means that you no longer have to enter the State of Charge (SoC).

We create a charger for each new place you charge your EV. They will be visible on My Charge box list as an "InCar+address" charger.

NOTE! The integration does not work with Skoda's hybrid cars, as they are built on a different technology.

How to create your Skoda electric car in the app

Before you get started

  1. Download the latest version of the True Energy app from the App Store or Google Play and plug the charging cable into your car.

  2. If you do not already have a My Skoda account, you must create one and add your car. You can find the My Skoda app in App Store or Google Play.

In the True Energy app

  1. Add your car: Find it in the list of car brands. You will then be asked to log in and connect your My Skoda account.

  2. Create a charging rule: You can create one for every day, one for weekdays and one for the weekend or whatever suits you.

We now charge your car according to your preferences.

Then you have 2 options:

  1. You do nothing and continue to use the app and enter the State of Charge (SoC) as before. You will not have InCar chargers created in the app, as the app is connected through your charging box and not through the car.

  2. You delete your car and your charging box in the app and follow the 2 steps above. From now on you won't have to enter the State of Charge manually.

This means that you lose your charging history.

Then you can still use our app. Follow these 3 simple steps:

  1. Add your car: Find it in the list of car brands.

  2. Add your charging box: Find it in the list of charging boxes. You will then be asked to log in and connect your charging box to the app. We support charging boxes from Charge Amps, EVBox, Etrel, Easee and go-e (before 2020).

  3. Create a charging rule: You can set up a rule that suits your needs.

Always remember to enter the State of Charge in the app when you want to charge at home, so we know how much we should charge your car.

We now charge your car according to your preferences.
