How do I set or reset my password?

Reset your password if you've forgotten or have not yet set a password for your Truehold Homebase account

Having trouble accessing your Homebase account because of a forgotten or misplaced password? Don’t worry! This guide will walk you through the steps to reset your password quickly and securely, allowing you to regain access to manage your transaction with Truehold.

Steps to Reset Your Password

1. Get to the Forgot Password page

You can go directly to the Forgot Password page here or and click on the "Forgot your password?" link at any point during log in.

2. Enter Your Registered Email Address

You will be prompted to enter the email address associated with your Homebase account. Ensure it’s the same email used in transactions and communications with Truehold.

3. Check Your Email for Reset Instructions

An email containing password reset instructions will be sent to your registered email address. Open the email with subject "Reset password instructions" and click on the provided link to create a new password.

4. Create a New Password

Choose a new, strong password that:

  • has at least 8 characters

  • contains both uppercase & lowercase letters

  • contains at least 1 number

  • contains at least 1 symbol

Didn’t receive a Password Reset email?

  • Check your spam and junk email folders to ensure it wasn’t misdirected.

  • Make sure you entered the correct email address associated with your Homebase account.

Link in your Password Reset email doesn't work?

  • Try copying and pasting the link directly into your browser.

  • If it’s still not working, you may want to initiate the password reset process again or contact support via chat for assistance.
