Important! To successfully connect to your Facebook Page, ensure that your Page is added to your Meta Business Suite.
From your Settings page, click the BROWSE button to connect or add an account.
A dialog will open with review website options.
Find Facebook from the list of options and click “CONNECT”
You will be prompted to select an account. If you have multiple business accounts, only select the one that you want your customers to leave a review on. TrueReview will only show reviews on your dashboard from one account, even if you select multiple.
a. Select desired account, and click “Next”
b. Make sure not to change these options as TrueReview will not work properly. Click “Done”
Your privacy is very important to us. TrueReview follows regular checkups required by Facebook to ensure your information is secure.
c. When prompted, click “OK“.
You will be redirected back to your TrueReview dashboard.
Ensure that the Reviews tab is enabled on your Facebook Page so customers can leave a review.
You’re now ready to read, respond and collect reviews for your Facebook page!
Having trouble connecting to Facebook?
Make sure you are an admin for the page you want to connect to.
Ensure you have all the appropriate permissions as an admin user to connect to third party applications.
Do not change or disable any permissions when prompted to connect your Facebook page with TrueReview
If after selecting your page and connecting you're getting an error, please follow this article, as you need to add your page to Meta Business Manager.
Not seeing your reviews tab or recommendations? (Facebook Support Article)
Facebook recently updated the business Page experience, and you may need to enable the recommendations manually in order for customers to recommend and leave reviews on your Facebook Business Page.
For New Pages Experience:
Log into Facebook, then click your profile photo in the top right.
Click See all Profiles, then select the Page you want to switch into.
Click your Page's profile photo in the top right.
Click Settings & privacy, then click Settings.
Click Privacy in the left menu, then click Page and tagging.
Toggle Allow others to view and leave reviews on your Page? on or off.
For Classic Pages:
Note: If your Page previously had reviews, Recommendations have been automatically turned on for your Page. If you can't find a review, check your Page's Recommendations (you can filter by most recent Recommendations to help you find it). If you still can't find a review or Recommendation, it may have been removed because it didn't follow our Community Standards.
