In short, to send review requests via SMS, we need to assign a dedicated number which requires verification. Verifications are required to ensure delivery of your SMS review requests and reduces, if any filtering. An important part of the verification process is showing proof of customer SMS opt-in/consent.

If your business does not wish to send review requests via SMS, TrueReview can disable the SMS functionality so that you can send review requests via Email only.
