Mark customer's number as contacted before

You may be switching from a different review management platform, and have already sent review requests to phone numbers that you don't want to send again.

You can import those contacts, and mark them as "Contacted Before". This will ensure that if you are sending review requests to repeat customers, let's say automatically via a Zap, then there will be a record of this number as being contacted before. If your Zap settings in TrueReview are set to skip customers that have been previously contacted, then marking them as "Contacted Before" will create that reference.

To mark customers as "Contacted Before":

  1. Import or add your contacts to your Contacts page.

  2. Select the contacts you'd like to mark as "Contact Before"

  3. In the blue bar, click "Mark as contacted"

  4. Confirm that you'd like to mark the selected customers as contacted before.

  5. The icon next to the number will turn green with a check mark, and will say "CONTACTED BEFORE" next to it

    Now, whenever you import a list of customers, or send a request to a repeat customer that was contacted outside of TrueReview in the past, you will first get a warning to confirm whether you'd like to resend.
