How does review request usage work in TrueReview?
Updated over 5 months ago

At TrueReview, we aim to help you maximize customer feedback with our efficient review request campaigns. Here's a breakdown of how our review requests work and what you can expect from each billing cycle.

What are Review Requests?

Review requests are messages sent to your customers asking them to leave feedback about their experience. These messages can be sent via SMS or email depending on your plan, ensuring that you can reach your customers through their preferred communication channel.

What is a Campaign?

A campaign in TrueReview consists of one SMS and up to three email follow-ups. These are strategically spaced to remind your customers to leave a review without overwhelming them.

How Does Campaign Usage Work?

Each campaign, regardless of the number of follow-up emails included, counts as one request usage. This means:

  • 1 SMS + up to 3 email follow-ups = 1 review request usage

Billing Cycle and Request Usage

Your review requests are tied to your billing cycle. Here's what you need to know:

  1. Reset with Billing Cycle: Review requests reset at the beginning of each billing cycle. This means that any requests you haven't used will not roll over to the next cycle.

  2. No Carry Over: Unused review requests do not accumulate. If you don't use all your allocated requests within the billing cycle, they will expire.

  3. Fresh Start: At the start of a new billing cycle, you receive a new set of review requests as per your subscription plan.

Maximizing Your Review Requests

To get the most out of your review requests:

  • Plan Your Campaigns: Schedule your review requests strategically throughout the billing cycle.

  • Monitor Usage: Keep an eye on your review request usage to ensure you're maximizing your allocation each cycle.

  • Engage Effectively: Use both SMS and email follow-ups to increase the likelihood of receiving customer feedback.

By understanding and effectively utilizing your review requests, you can ensure a steady flow of customer feedback, helping you improve your services and grow your business.
