By default, TrueReview presents your review websites on a dedicated screen, giving customers the option to choose where they'd like to leave their review.
However, if you prefer, you can direct customers to a specific website for all the contact types TrueReview offers, such as Direct Link, Reactions, or Surveys.
💡 Using this redirect method will decrease the effectiveness of drip campaigns and reduce the frequency of follow-up emails
To direct customers to a particular review site, ensure that you’ve connected your desired platforms through the Settings page.
Click on ADD ACCOUNTS to connect the review websites you want your customers to see or be redirected to.
Then, scroll down to the "Contact Type" section on your Settings page. Under the REVIEW LINKS or REVIEWS tab (depending on selected contact type), choose the option to "Redirect to a specific review website."
From the dropdown menu, select the review website where you’d like to redirect your customers to leave a review.
Please note that redirects are supported for Google, Facebook, and TrueReview. If you wish to redirect customers to a custom URL, please contact support for verification. Once verified, we’ll add the custom link for your business to use as a redirect.
✋ For security reasons, link shortening services like Bitly or similar are not permitted for custom links.
This feature is available on all updated plans. Customers who have been grandfathered into older plans do not have access to it.
