Here's a 3-min. video to talk about the widget library and along with it, the quick access buttons in the platform:

To know more, below are some sections talking about the features available to you when using the Widget Library.

Quick Access Buttons

The Widget Library can be accessed by the quick access widget buttons that live within the Editor Mode of your Pod or your Template. When you hover over the editor, you should see the quick access widget buttons appear in between widgets:

Add video

Add a video recording of yourself, your screen or a screenshare when you click on 'Add video'.

Add blank

Click on 'Add blank' to add a blank Text Widget.

All widgets

Click on 'All widgets' to see the platform widgets, and your custom Saved or Synced Widgets.

Widget Library

The Widget Library has four main sections - the Widget Categories, Filter Options, List View, and the Preview Panel.

Widget Categories

The Widget Categories can be found on the left panel on the library. By default, you will have 'All widgets', 'trumpet' widgets', and 'Integration' in the platform. The Saved and Synced categories will become available once you've started saving and syncing widgets in trumpet.

Filter Options

To narrow down your search, you can add multiple filters when finding a Saved or Synced widget. You can filter by 'All creators', 'All tags', 'All types', and 'All teams', and also reset to remove your filters.

'Types' refer to the Widget Type (FAQ, Mutual Action Plan, etc.) of your Saved or Synced Widget.

Widget List View

The Widget List View will display all widgets available based on the category and filter selected. You have the ability to sort alphabetically, by your most popular widget, or by your recently created widget on this view.

Preview Panel

In the Preview Panel, you can apply any updates to the Widget Name, Teams and the Tags assigned to a Widget.

When making any updates, a yellow icon will show if it's currently saving. This will turn into a green check icon once the update has been applied.

Teams and Tags

When you assign Teams and Tags to your widget, you will be able filter by these criteria when searching. A tag has to be unique - when saving a Tag, you will not be allowed to save it under the same name as an existing Tag.

Widget Preview

Before dropping in a widget into your Pod or Template, you can quickly preview what it contains in the Widget Preview. When you're ready, you can simply click on the plus button on the top right corner of the modal to add the widget into your Pod or your Template.
