trumpet keeps a version history at two levels: for whole pages, and for individual widgets. You can preview any earlier version before you bring it back.
Page-level version history (Pods & Templates)
This lets you roll a whole page back to how it looked earlier.
Open the Pod or Template in the editor.
Click the small clock/check icon in the top bar (it also shows when the page was last saved) — or open the header menu and choose Version history.
Pick a page from the dropdown, then pick a snapshot from the list on the left. You can preview it before restoring.
Snapshots are created automatically — for example when you open the Pod, when you switch pages, and before some bigger changes such as adding or removing widgets. A new snapshot is only stored if something actually changed.
Restoring replaces that page’s content with the older snapshot and refreshes the editor. Your current Pod access settings (who’s allowed in, request access, and so on) are kept — they aren’t rolled back with the content.
Snapshots are kept for up to about 14 days, then removed. (This limit may change.)
Widget-level version history (individual blocks)
This lets you undo changes to a single widget without touching the rest of the page.
On supported content widgets (such as text-style blocks), open the widget’s ⋮ menu → Version history.
You’ll see past versions, with who made each change (you, Copilot, a workflow, and so on) and when. Preview and restore just that one widget.
Hand-edits are grouped so a new version isn’t saved on every keystroke — roughly every few minutes for the same person. Changes made by Copilot or a workflow are saved more often.
