Understanding Pod Statuses

Pods move through different statuses to reflect where they are in the sales journey. This helps teams quickly understand engagement and progress at a glance.

There are four Pod statuses: Draft, Active, Completed, and Lost.

Draft

A Pod in Draft status is still being prepared and has not yet been shared with a prospect.

This typically means the rep is building or refining the Pod content before sending it out.

When does a Pod move out of Draft?
A Pod will automatically move from Draft to Active when:

  • The “Copy link” button is clicked from the share modal (indicating it’s ready to be shared), or

  • The Pod receives its first view

Active

A Pod becomes Active once it has been shared or viewed by a prospect.

This status indicates that the Pod is now live and engagement may be taking place.

Completed

A Pod is marked as Completed when the associated opportunity has been successfully won.

This can happen in two ways:

  • The Pod is manually marked as Closed Won, or

  • If the Pod is connected to a deal or opportunity in your CRM, the associated deal is marked as Closed Won, which automatically updates the Pod status

Lost

A Pod is marked as Lost when the opportunity does not convert.

This can happen in two ways:

  • The Pod is manually marked as Closed Lost, or

  • If the Pod is connected to a deal or opportunity in your CRM, the associated deal is marked as Closed Lost, which automatically updates the Pod status
