Add Content popup

Written by Bel Gernale

The Add Content popup is the menu that appears when you click the + button while editing a Pod — it's a quicker, content-first way to add things to your page.

Note: this is a newer experience that's being rolled out, so you may still see the older widget search popup instead, depending on your account.

When you first open it (without searching):

  • Upload files — drag and drop, or upload from your computer. Files go into your personal library and are added to the Pod automatically.

  • Browse content library — pick files you've already saved (you can select multiple).

  • Quick widget tiles — grouped shortcuts like Create (Build, Canvas, Composer, etc.), Content (PDF, Image, Video, etc.), Collaborate (Forms, E-signature, Q&A, etc.), and Integrations (YouTube, Loom, Google, etc.).

  • At the bottom, links to open the full Widget Library if you want to browse All widgets, Integrations, or Saved widgets with previews.

When you search:
It searches across widgets, saved widgets, integrations, and your content library all at once. You can filter results by type (All, Widgets, Saved, Integrations, Content) and click any result to add it straight into the Pod.

Smart matching for files and links:
When you upload or pick content, trumpet tries to pick the right widget for you — e.g. a YouTube link becomes a YouTube embed, a PDF becomes a PDF viewer, images/videos go into a Build widget, and other files become a file share widget.
