Setting up ActiveCampaign integration

Written by Bel Gernale

How to set it up:

  1. Go to Integrations in Trumpet (from the main menu).

  2. Find ActiveCampaign and click Connect.

  3. A popup will ask you to sign in to your ActiveCampaign account — complete that step.

  4. Once connected, click the settings icon on the ActiveCampaign card to choose which Pod activities get sent back (e.g. views, comments, downloads).

  5. When creating a Pod, you can link it to an ActiveCampaign contact, deal, or company.

What it does once connected:

  • Pulls contact and deal info from ActiveCampaign when you create Pods.

  • Sends Pod engagement (views, comments, shares, etc.) back to ActiveCampaign as notes.

  • Can add new stakeholders as contacts in ActiveCampaign when they view a linked Pod.

Good to know:

  • It's simpler than the HubSpot or Salesforce integrations — there's no custom field mapping or embedded CRM card.

  • You can also connect ActiveCampaign via Zapier if you need more custom workflows.
