There are now two ways to present information through tables in trumpet - first is the Table widget, and second is the design command's Table feature from the text editor.
Watch this walkthrough video to learn more, or scroll down to read more about the two options.
The Table Widget is a stand-alone widget to present tables. With its new updates, you can now copy and paste data from your own .CSV, Microsoft Excel, or Google Sheets files and the cell placings will be copied over.
To use the Table Widget, click on the + icon in the middle of the Pod Editor to open the Widget Library, then navigate to the 'trumpet' tab where you should see Table. Click on Table then click the blue + icon to add it to your pod. You can also search for 'table' in the Widget Library search bar for a quicker search.
The Table feature from the design command in the text editor can also be used if you prefer or need to integrate more text around the table. To use this feature, just type forward-slash then 'table' ( /table ) into a text box in any widget, then choose the Table feature from the resulting dropdown. Same as the Table widget, data from Google Sheets, .CSV files, and Microsoft Excel can be copy and pasted into this Table feature.
