Watch the video or read the step-by-step guide below on how to effectively utilise engagement scores in trumpet, to monitor conversations, qualify deals, and understand buyer behaviour.

What are Engagement Scores?

Engagement scores are generated using AI and machine learning based on the frequency of tracked signals to tell you how Engaged your customer or prospect is.

Within the Pods we use different signals to influence the Engagement Score, a signal such as Pod viewed, Video played, Proposal downloaded, etc.. We’ve got hundreds of signals.

The engagement score is then generated using AI taking into account all your different signals and just how likely those signals are going to move your deal forward.

70-100 is good and means a deal is on track.

50-70 means additional engagement may be required

Less than 50 means action is needed to re-engage and restore momentum.

The scores are recalculated based upon new signals, or time elapsed since the last signal - so the longer you don’t have a new signal, the more your score will gradually decrease daily.

Step-by-step guide:

  1. Accessing Engagement Scores:

    • Log in to trumpet and preview your latest Pods on the home page.

    • Navigate to 'My Pods' where you will see a column for engagement scores rated from 0 to 100 for Pods that you have shared and that have been opened.

  2. Interpreting Engagement Scores:

    • Engagement scores are generated using AI and machine learning based on the frequency of tracked signals.

    • Scores range from 0 to 100, with higher scores indicating higher engagement levels.

  3. Using Engagement Scores:

    • Monitor conversations by observing the engagement scores.

    • Use scores to qualify deals based on buyer engagement.

    • Understand buyer behaviour within the platform by analysing the scores.

  4. Taking Action Based on Scores:

    • For low engagement scores, consider re-engaging the customer using comments, collaboration features, or relevant additional content.

    • For high engagement scores, continue nurturing the relationship and providing valuable content.

Best Practices:

  • Regularly check and monitor engagement scores to stay updated on buyer interactions.

  • Experiment with different engagement strategies based on the scores to improve buyer engagement.

  • Collaborate with team members to share insights and best practices on leveraging engagement scores effectively.
Ensure that engagement scores are used as a tool for insights and not as the sole determinant of buyer behaviour.

  • Avoid making drastic decisions solely based on engagement scores; consider other factors as well.
