Who Can Change Profile Colors?

Only Team Owners and Administrators have permission to set and modify user profile colors. Individual users cannot change their assigned color.

Setting Custom User Profile Colors (Admin Guide)

Follow these steps to assign or update the colors for your team members:

  1. Access Settings: Click your name (or profile icon) in the upper right-hand corner of the Truss interface.

  2. Navigate to Organization: Select Organization Settings from the dropdown menu. (This will take you to the central administration panel.)

Find the User List: Within the Organization Settings, click on Manage Firm Users. (This action displays the complete list of all users within your firm's Truss environment.)

Assign the Color: For each user, locate the Annotation Color column. Click to open the color picker and select the unique color you want to assign to that user.

  • Tip: Ensure each active user has a distinct, easily recognizable color for maximum visual clarity in Workpapers.

Pro Tip: Automatic Saving

The color you select is automatically saved and applied immediately across all Truss modules—there is no need to click a separate "Save" or "Apply" button.
