Truss uses Gruntworx to process and OCR simple tax returns. To use Gruntworx, please download and install the TrussGruntworxAgent.exe on the same computer that your tax software is installed.
Note for UltraTax users: If you have UltraTax hosted remotely on TR Virtual Office CS, please contact support before following these instructions - GruntWorx may not be compatible with your hosting environment.
Step 1: In the Gruntworx Agent installation dialog, select your Tax Software:
Step 2: Depending on what Tax Software you select, there may be additional dialog screens. If you need assistance on these, don't hesitate to contact support.
Step 3: That's it! You are now ready to use Truss Prep with Gruntworx. To get started, select a project, and click Truss Prep, follow additional instructions.
