Preferred candidates

Candidates you should refer are non-hired candidates, with at least 2 years of experience and have been rejected no longer than 2-3 weeks ago.

They don't necessarily need to be finalists of your hiring processes. We understand that a candidate that you reject, for instance, in a first call because their location is not convenient, can be a great fit for another company!

What kind of roles can I refer?

Other Tech Roles: You can refer candidates for all the different roles stated above

Developers: You can refer developers working on any technology (.net, PHP, Python, Ruby, nodeJS, C++...), Data Engineers and Data Scientists, DevOps, Backend, Frontend, Full-Stack engineers, QA Engineers, Mobile developers, and Tech leads.

Regarding the seniority

We want to make sure that you can all find a wide variety of profiles with different levels of experience on Circular in order to fulfill your needs. This means that you can refer junior profiles to very senior profiles, even those with more than 15 years of experience.

At what stage of the interview should I refer the candidate?

You can refer any candidate you have had a conversation with. This conversation could be a phone interview or an in-person interview. When referring them to the community, our tool will help you define which moment in the process you have rejected the candidate (screening, interviews or tests, final round).

Note: you can also refer talent that you know from other situations like from your personal network.
