What are the Circular surveys and how do they work?

As a recruiter you’ll be able to measure your Candidate Experience. This means, you will know what perception candidates have about your hiring process. To do so you can send them the Candidate Experience surveys. These surveys will tell you how many developers would recommend your hiring process and what exactly they like and dislike about it.

Sending surveys to developers is very easy!

  1. Once you are logged into your Circular account, click on “Recommendations & surveys”. You’ll find this tab on the very top part of the site.

  2. Then, click on the button “Send surveys”. Here you’ll be able to add the email addresses of those candidates you want to send the survey to. Before sending the survey, remember that you can recommend them to the community. Find more information about it here.

  3. When you’re ready simply click on “Send surveys” and they’ll immediately receive it in their inbox.

If you prefer, you can also add the link to your survey in an email (e.g. your rejection email). To do so:

  1. Go to Circular’s homepage and click on “Recommendations & surveys” as before.

  2. After clicking on the button “Send surveys” choose the second option “By link”.

  3. Copy the link that has been automatically created just for you and paste it into the email you want to send to the developer. They will be able to answer the survey questions simply by clicking on the link.

When the developer clicks on the survey link they’ll be able to answer two questions:

  • How likely are they to recommend the hiring process to a friend or colleague?

  • What they liked and disliked about the hiring process regarding the job description, the communications, the interviewers and the transparency.

Remember, having a good Candidate Experience will help you boost your reputation as a recruiter in the community!

The more candidates you get promoting your hiring process, the higher your reputation level will be. This means, for every promoter a recruiter receives (a candidate recommending their hiring process through our CX Surveys) they will get +2 in their reputation level.
