Currently, each quiz can only support one language, generating a unique URL, pop-up URL, and app embed key for each translation. If you want to offer quizzes in multiple languages, you'll need to create a separate quiz for each language.
The only translation app that works seamlessly with Lantern is Langify. It allows you to display different URLs, pop-ups, and embeds depending on the translation selected by the customer.
If you're using a different translation app, your solutions may depend on how your store is set up. Here are some options our users commonly implement:
Navigation Menus: Many users create different navigation menus for each domain or language and add the quiz as a navigation menu item. This way, the appropriate quiz is shown for each language.
Separate Pages: You can create separate pages under your "Pages" section and embed the quiz in different languages on each page. These pages can be selectively displayed for different domains, or added to specific navigation menus.
Language Selection in the Quiz: Some users add a button on the Welcome page of the quiz that links to the other language version, giving customers the option to choose their preferred translation.
We are actively working on adding integrations with Weglot and Shopify's Translate & Adapt to allow quizzes to be translated in the same way as your Shopify store content. While we don’t have a specific release date, we can add you to the list of supporters to notify you when this feature becomes available.
If you'd like help setting up any of the above solutions, feel free to reach out! We're happy to assist in making sure your multilingual quizzes work smoothly.
