What Can I Do With The Enhance Tool for Images?

The Enhance Tool in the Image Editor gives you access to image enhancement and editing tools from Topaz Labs, Stable Diffusion, Google Imagen 3 & Bria 2.3 covering a range of needs from basic Upscaling to Color Correction, HDR and Face Enhancement.

Select the 'Enhance' button above the image in the editor

The AI Enhance panel will open on the left hand side of the editor and you can select the model provider from the first dropdown:

Choose to upscale your image up to 5x. For example, choosing 2x would double the resolution of your output image.

Choose what you want the AI model to focus on:

Switching this on enables the Face Enhancement tool which is controlled by the following two sliders.

The Creativity slider controls how much artistic flexibility the model has when reconstructing facial features. Higher values allow for more interpretation; lower values stay closer to the original

The Strength slider adjusts how strongly the enhancement is applied to facial features. Increase to smooth and clarify faces; decrease for a more natural, untouched look.

Choose to upscale your image up to 3x, or enter custom dimensions in pixels of up to 4096 px on the long side or no more than 4x the original dimensions.

The HDR slider boosts dynamic range for a more vivid, high-contrast look. Higher values can add drama; lower values keep tones natural.

The Detail slider controls the level of texture enhancement. Increase for crisper fine details, or decrease to smooth the image.

The Sharpness slider adjusts edge clarity. Higher sharpness emphasises outlines and structure; lower sharpness softens the image.

The Creativity slider adds artistic variation and interpretive flair. Higher values may shift style or composition subtly.

Enabling Color Correction automatically adjusts tone, saturation, and balance to improve color fidelity.

Enabling Restore Face enhances facial features using AI. It is best for portraits where faces need to be clearer or more natural looking.
