In this how-to guide, I will walk you through the process of organizing your assets using the "Product" column dropdown and the Bulk Apply feature. Assuming you have already uploaded your asset files into a generic "No product" folder, I'll show you how to categorize them into specific Product folders, allowing you to manage your assets effectively.

Step 1: Accessing and Uploading Your Assets

  • Log in to your workspace and navigate to the asset library.

  • Ensure that you have already uploaded your assets before proceeding.

Step 2: Selecting the "Product" Column Dropdown

  1. Look for the "Product" column in the asset table.

  2. In the "Product" column, you'll find a dropdown menu. Click on it to see the list of available Product folders.

Step 3: Assigning Assets to Product Folders

  1. Identify the asset you want to organize and click on the corresponding dropdown in the "Product" column.

  2. A list of Product folders will appear. Select the folder(s) you want to assign the asset to by clicking on them. You can choose one or multiple folders as needed.

  3. Repeat this process for each asset you want to organize.

Step 4: Bulk Applying Assets to Product Folders

  1. If you have several assets that belong to the same Product folder, you can use the Bulk Apply feature for faster organization.

  2. Click on the checkbox next to each asset you want to include in a particular Product folder.

  3. Once you've selected all the assets you wish to organize together, click on the "Bulk Apply" dropdown.

  4. A window will appear with a list of available Product folders. Select the appropriate folder for the selected assets.

Step 5: Confirming the Organization

  1. After assigning assets to Product folders individually or in bulk, verify the changes in the "Product" column.

  2. You should now see the relevant Product folder(s) listed for each asset.

By following this step-by-step guide, you can efficiently organize assets in your workspace using the "Product" column dropdown and the Bulk Apply feature. This organization system allows you to categorize assets into specific folders, enabling easy retrieval and management. Keep your workspace tidy and well-structured, making it easier to find and work with your assets effectively.
