Please refer to the country specific requirements below before proceeding:

FOR AUSTRALIA

USI

For USI, where the person only uses one name, it should be entered into the First Name

  • This is the same as stated above

  • The USI will then verify without issue

AVETMISS

For AVETMISS National standard (and any states that claim to use the national standard e.g. NSW), if the person only has one name, it will be reported in both the first name and the last name (family name).

  • When first name is – or — and last name is MYNAME, export first name will be MYNAME and last name will be MYNAME

  • When first name is MYNAME and last name is – or –, export first name will be MYNAME and last name will be MYNAME

For Victoria AVETMISS , if the person has only one name, the first name will report as NONE and the last name (family name) will report as whichever name you have entered:

  • When first name is – or — and last name is MYNAME, Vic export first name will be NONE and last name will be MYNAME

  • When first name is MYNAME and last name is – or –, Vic export first name will be NONE and last name will be MYNAME

For AVETMISS , the name appears in the NAT85 and also appears in the NAT80 in a condensed form as ‘name for encryption’.

Credentials

If you have entered ‘-‘ or ‘–‘ in the last name, those dashes will not display when you run a credential for the Learner.

FOR NEW ZEALAND

This will report correctly in UIP, NZQA and SDR Reporting
