Q: How long does it take for my listing to appear on other rental websites?
A: Your listing becomes available on TurboTenant immediately after you publish it for online marketing. Most advertising partners update their listings within 48 hours, although some may take longer. Publication times vary by website and are not guaranteed. You can use Track Listing on your property's Marketing tab to search for your property address online and see where your listing may be appearing.
Q: Why isn't my listing appearing on every advertising partner's website?
A: Each advertising partner determines which listings it accepts based on its own requirements.
If your listing isn't appearing on a particular website:
Confirm your listing is published for online marketing.
Allow at least 48 hours for advertising partners to process your listing.
Review the partner requirements and limitations above.
Make sure your listing includes accurate property details, a complete address, a description, and photos.

Q: Does TurboTenant advertise my rental on Zillow?
A: TurboTenant does not directly publish self-managed (DIY) rental listings to Zillow.
However, your listing may appear on other websites affiliated with Zillow Group, such as HotPads or Trulia, through partner distribution. If you receive a lead labeled Zillow Group, it does not necessarily mean your property was advertised on Zillow itself. The inquiry may have originated from an affiliated website.
Q: Why is a different phone number showing on Apartments.com, Zumper, or Realtor.com?
A: Some advertising partners display a call-forwarding or tracking number instead of your personal phone number. These numbers help protect your privacy and allow advertising partners to track inquiries generated through their websites. Calls are forwarded to the appropriate phone number. If you call the tracking number from the same phone that receives forwarded calls, you may be directed to your own voicemail. This is expected behavior.

Q: Can I choose which advertising websites receive my listing?
A: When you publish your listing for online marketing, TurboTenant distributes it to eligible advertising partners automatically. Placement depends on each partner's requirements, and appearing on every website is not guaranteed.
Q: Does accepting rental applications automatically advertise my property?
A: No. Accepting rental applications and publishing your property for online marketing are separate actions.
To distribute your listing to advertising partners, you must publish it for online marketing. Simply accepting applications does not activate advertising partner distribution.
