Whether a project is generated automatically or manually, you can still edit its information. ✍️

Editing a project is useful when you need to edit the date, time or price of the project, for example. It also allows you to restrict the project to a specific teammate, or leave a note.

On the Schedule page 🗓️

You can edit projects by accessing them from the Schedule page.

On the Schedule page, find the project you want to edit on the schedule, click the project bubble, and then click the "Edit Project" button.

On the Project List 📃

You can edit projects by accessing them from the Project List page, under the "Projects" section.

On the List page, find the project you want to edit in the Pending And Accepted tab and click on it. Then click the three dots icon to the right. This will open a menu where you can select "Edit Project".

Editing card 📝

Either one of the paths above will take you to a screen like the one below. Once on the "Edit Project" card, you can edit the following:

1️⃣ The date of the project

2️⃣ The start and end times of the project

3️⃣ The checklist associated with the project

4️⃣ The price of the project

5️⃣ Toggle the "Guest Arrives Same Day" tag

6️⃣ Write a note to your teammate

7️⃣ Restrict the project to specific teammates

8️⃣ Write a private note that only you and your teammates can see

Project date/time ⏳

To update the date of a project, click the "Start Date" or the "End Date" field. You can do the same with the time - click the "Start Time" and "Finish Time" fields to change them.

Project price 💰

On the 'Price' section, you can update the project price by selecting the "Custom Price" option. This overrides the teammate's rate that is set for the property, which means they can have a specific price that will be valid for this project only, so their project rate won't be changed for other projects.

Individual project price changes can be set to hourly or flat, as you can see in the animation below.

Checklist ✅

When you set a default checklist while editing a property, it will enable the checklist on all projects for the respective property. The checklist will then be displayed to your teammates on their mobile app when they check the project request and also after they accept the project.

You can change the checklist on a specific project by opening the checklist drop down menu and selecting another checklist from the "Select a checklist" option:

"Guest Arrives Same Day" feature 🏡

When you check the "Guest Arrives Same Day" box, your teammate will see the tag on the project card, notifying them that a guest will check out and another one will check in later on the same day.

So you can select this option whenever you need to let your teammate know that they can only do the project on that specific day/time.

📑 Note: Turno automatically adds this tag to projects that exist between a check-out and check-in on the same day. Here is an example of how it looks on the teammate's end:

This is a screenshot from the teammate's end that shows the "Same day arrival" tag.

Notes 📑

Here, you can leave a note specific to this project for your teammate to add any information, such as access codes or anything you need. This will be visible on their end under the "Project Notes" section.

You can also add private notes, which will only be available for you and your co-hosts, and no teammate will have access to it.

Restrict to specific teammates ❌

This option can be checked to restrict a project to specific teammates. This means that the project in question will be available only to them and will not show up on other teammates' project requests besides the ones you select.

⚠️ This does not mean that the selected teammate will be assigned to the project, just that this project will only be visible to the selected teammates, and only they will be able to accept it.

To do so, click on the "Restrict to Specific Teammates" box and then select a teammate from the "Select a teammate" dropdown menu (you can select multiple teammates):

📑 Note: If you want to directly assign a teammate to this project, follow the instructions in this article:

Once you're done, make sure to click "Update" at the bottom right so that your changes are saved. ✅

📱 Through the mobile app

On your app, you will find the same editing options as on the web. To access the editing card, go to your "Projects" page, click on the project of your choice, and click on the three dots in the top right corner so you can select "Edit Project".

Once you do so, the Edit Project page will open, as you can see below: ⬇️

'Payment' section💲

In this area, you will find the options to edit the project price. If you select the "Custom Price" option, it will override the teammate's rate that was set up for the property, which means they can have a specific price that will be valid for this project only, so their project rate won't be changed for other projects.

You also have the ability to set the price 'Per project' or 'Per hour':

'Project' section⏰

Here, you will find the options to edit the project 'Date', 'Time', and the 'Guest arrives same day' tag.

You can use this last option to let your teammates know that they can only do the project on that specific day/time.

When you check the "Guest Arrives Same Day" box, your teammate will see the tag on the project card, notifying them that a guest will check out and another one will check in later on the same day.

'About the Cleaning' section 🧼

This is the last section on the editing card, and you will find here the options to restrict the project to specific teammates, change the checklist added to the project, leave notes to the teammate, or add private notes that only you can see.

As for the 'Restrict' option, you can check the box to restrict this project to specific teammates and select the one(s) of your choice. This means that this project will be available only to them and will not show up on other teammates' project requests besides the ones you select.

⚠️ This does not mean that the selected teammate will be assigned to the project, just that this project will only be visible to the selected teammates, and only they will be able to accept it.

At the end, don't forget to click "Save" so all of your changes are applied! ✅
