The Clip Viewer in TVEyes allows you to share clips with other TVEyes users. This article guides you through the available sharing options.
1. Share a Clip via Email
Step 1: Locate the media mention in your results list and click its title to open the Clip Viewer.
Step 2: Click on the 'Share' button at the top right.
Step 3: Enter the recipient's email, add a subject for your email, and optionally include a note to your recipient. Then, click the 'Ok' button.
Step 4: TVEyes will show a notification that your share is being processed. Once the share is ready, you and your recipients will receive an email.
Step 5: To view your shared clip, your recipient can follow the link from their email.
2. Share a Link to a Clip
Note that you can only share links to other TVEyes users.
Step 1: Locate the media mention in your results list and click its title to open Clip Viewer.
Step 2: Click on the 'Share' button at the top right.
Step 3: From the 'Share' dialog window that appears, click the 'Generate' button at the top, and an internal link to the clip will be generated.
Step 4: Click on the 'Copy link' button, and you will save the link to the clipboard.
Step 5: TVEyes will display a notification confirming that the link to the clip has been successfully copied to your clipboard, and you can paste the link where you like. For instance, you can share this link via chat or reopen the page with clip in a new window.
3. Sharing Clips on Mobile
Step 1: Open your desired clip in Clip Viewer and click on the 'Share' button.
Step 2: From the mobile dialog window that appears, enter the recipient's email, add a subject for your email, and optionally include a note. Then, click the 'Ok' button.
