When preparing documents for e-signature it’s important that form fields are properly placed and not overlapping.

While placing fields like Signature, Date Signed, Name, or Text Field, you might accidentally drop them too close or on top of each other.

Here’s an example:

When you click Send, the system automatically checks for issues and might show this prompt:

This is to ensure the signer doesn’t get confused or miss a required field.

How to Resolve this?

1. Click on the overlapping field.

This will highlight it and show resize handles.

2. Resize or move the field by dragging the edges or repositioning it.

  • Make sure no part of the field touches or overlaps another field.

  • Keep enough spacing for clarity.

3. Once all fields are adjusted, click Send again.

If everything is placed correctly, the system will show a preview of the document.

Review the layout, field positions, and content.

If everything looks good, click Finish, and the document will be sent for signature.
