How to Use the Document Approver Stamp?

The Document Approver Stamp feature allows you to easily mark documents with image-based or text-based stamps — making it clear when a document is approved or assigned a specific status.

This guide will walk you through the steps to use this feature, whether you're a regular business user or exploring Twala for the first time.

What is the Document Approver Stamp?

The Approver Stamp feature lets you place custom stamps on your documents to indicate approval, review status, or any other important label. You can choose between:

Image-based stamps — Upload custom images like company logos or approval badges.

Text-based stamps — Add status labels such as Approved, Reviewed, or Confidential.

How to Add an Approver Stamp?

1. Open the Document — Go to your Twala dashboard and select the document you want to stamp.

2. Find the Approver Stamp Tool —The Approver Stamp feature is typically found in the right-hand sidebar of the document viewer.

Using Image-Based Stamps

1. Select Image Stamp

Click the Image Stamp option and upload your preferred image — this can be your company logo, an approval badge, or any custom image.

2. Place the Stamp

Click on the spot in your document where you'd like the image to appear. You can drag, resize, and reposition the stamp.

3. Customize Stamp Properties (if available)

Adjust the stamp's size or opacity to fit your document's layout.

4. Confirm Placement

Double-check the position of the image stamp. Once you're satisfied, select Approve Document to finalize the stamp.

Using Text-Based Stamps

1. Select Text Stamp

Click on the Text Stamp option from the Approver Stamp tool.

2. Type Your Text

Enter the message you want to display — for example, Approved, Reviewed, or Draft.

3. Customize Appearance

You can adjust:

  • Font style

  • Size

  • Color

  • Alignment

4. Place the Stamp

Click on the location where you want the text stamp to appear.

5. Approve Document

Once you're happy with the placement, select Approve Document to apply the stamp.
