To better understand 'via PKI Certificate' or 'via PKI' documents, here are some key differences from other types of documents:
Via PKI documents don’t have an audit trail attached to the document after it's completed. However, you can still view the audit trail by clicking the document's 'More' button on the sidebar and selecting 'Inspect Audit Trail.'
Via PKI documents only allow serial signing. This means signers must follow a set order created by the document author before they can sign.
Parallel signing is not allowed for via PKI documents. All signers must sign in the given order instead of signing whenever they want.
