What you’ll need

  • A valid, government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, state ID, passport)

  • A smartphone with camera (or a computer with webcam)

  • Good lighting and a quiet place to take photos

How ID verification works

  1. Start from your Two Dots link and choose “Verify identity”.

  2. Follow the prompts to scan your ID (front and back if applicable).

  3. Take a quick selfie so we can match the face on your ID.

  4. Submit. You’ll see a confirmation on screen, and your application updates automatically.

Photo tips for fast approval

  • Condition: Use the physical ID (not a screenshot or photocopy).

  • Validity: Make sure your ID is not expired.

  • Lighting: Bright, even light - no glare or shadows.

  • Framing: Capture the entire ID - edges visible, text readable.

  • Selfie: Look straight at the camera; remove hats, sunglasses, and masks.

  • Switch from Wi-Fi to cellular (or vice versa).

  • Close other apps using the camera.

  • Retake the photo in better light; avoid glare.

  • Place the ID on a dark, flat background.

  • Make sure the ID is in focus and fully in frame.

Selfie didn’t match

  • Remove glasses or headwear; keep a neutral expression.

  • Hold the phone at eye level and retake.
