Syncing applications with Two Dots enables applicants to receive invite links and start the verification process. This ensures a smooth experience for both you and your applicants. This guide will walk you through the manual syncing process.

Frequency of application syncing with Yardi/Entrata

Applications sync with Yardi/Entrata every 30 minutes. Updates will appear within that timeframe. For immediate changes such as rent updates, information edits, adding co-applicants, or starting verification, you can manually trigger a sync anytime to ensure the latest data appears in Two Dots.

How to do a manual sync

1. Open your property management system (Yardi / Entrata) and navigate to the resident profile.

2. Click the applicant’s prospect code or application ID to open their guest record.

3. On the guest record, under “Two Dots Income Report,” click the Sync & Start Verification link.

4. A new page will open in Two Dots with the pre-filled property code, click Sync.

5. Once the sync completes, the current resident will automatically receive an invite to Two Dots.

  • Property Management Company Name

  • Prospect Code / Application ID

  • Property Code

Note: Make sure that these are in lower-case

  • The application was recently created.

  • The property is not yet configured with Two Dots.

  • The property has been disconnected from Two Dots.

  • The property code is incorrect.

FAQs

What is a prospect code/application ID?

It is a unique identifier assigned to the applicant or application. It can be found on their resident or guest card.

  • P-Code: starts with letter P followed by 7 digits

  • Application ID: a 6-8 digit code

Do I need to sync every application manually?

New applications do not need to be synced manually. Applications sync with Yardi/Entrata automatically every 30 minutes. For immediate updates, you can manually sync the application.

The application is not syncing. What will I do?

You need to check with your management if the property is still connected in Two Dots.

My property is still connected with Two Dots, yet the application failed to sync.
