It doesn’t matter who you bank with, all financial institutions are legally required to provide you with an account statement. Please reach out to your bank if you have any issues obtaining your PDF digital statements.

Follow these simple steps to download your statements from your bank and upload them for verification.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Visit your bank’s website or mobile app

Open your bank’s online banking or mobile app (for example, Wells Fargo Online Banking, Chase eBanking, Bank of America Digital Banking, etc.).

2. Log in to your account

Sign in to your online or mobile banking using your username and password.

3. Find your statements section

Look for a section labeled “Statements,” “E-documents,” or “Download Statements” and click on it.

4. Select the correct account

If you have multiple accounts, make sure you choose the one used for your income deposits.

5. Choose your statement or date range

Select your most recent 30–60 days of bank activity for verification.

Acceptable formats include:

  • PDF downloaded directly from your bank’s website or mobile app.

  • Clear, original digital copies — no screenshots or scanned photos.

6. Choose the .PDF format

When asked to select a format, choose PDF.

This ensures the file is readable and secure for verification.

7. Download the PDF file

Save the statement to your device (computer, tablet, or phone).

Remember where you saved it — you’ll need to upload it in the next step.

8. Upload or send your bank statements to Two Dots

Go back to your Two Dots application, find the Income Verification section, and click Upload Documents.

Select the PDF you just downloaded and upload it.

What Happens Next

After you upload your bank statements, the Two Dots team will automatically review your documents.

You’ll receive an email or in-app notification once your verification is complete — usually within 1-2 business days.

Helpful Tips

  • Upload official digital PDFs directly from your bank — not screenshots or mobile photos.

  • Make sure the statements show:

    • Your full name

    • Bank name/logo

    • Recent transactions or deposits (within the last two months)

  • If you uploaded the wrong document, you can re-upload the correct one using the same steps.

  • Only upload official PDF files — no screenshots or cropped photos.

Avoid Application Delays by not Uploading:

  1. Document screenshots

  2. Scanned physical papers

  3. Image files (.jpg, .png, etc.)

  4. Bank statements not in your name or for your business

  5. Personal bank statements showing only transfer payments from non-business sources

  6. Employment verification letters (current employees need paystubs & bank statements)
