How Student Verification Works
Two Dots’ verification process is designed to ensure that every applicant can complete both income and identity verification even if they do not receive traditional income such as payroll deposits.
Students often fall into this category, as many rely on educational funding or financial support rather than employment income. To verify these applicants fairly, Two Dots accepts documentation that confirms financial support related to education.
Accepted Documents
Student applicants can complete their income verification by providing education-related financial aid documents that clearly display:
The applicant’s name as the recipient, and
The source of financial support (such as a school, scholarship fund, or government program).
International Students
For international student applicants, Two Dots also accepts:
Student financial stipends, or
A valid F-1, J-1, or M-1 visa showing the applicant’s student status.
These documents help confirm that the applicant has legitimate educational funding and authorization to study in the U.S.
What Happens After Submission
Once the required documents are uploaded and the applicant’s name is clearly visible, the application is placed under Manual Review.
During this review, the Two Dots team confirms the authenticity of the provided materials to ensure a secure and accurate verification process.
