Enabling Widget
To enable the widget, please follow these steps:
Go to the Shopify admin and open Tydal Reviews
Click Onsite → Widget Status
Toggle the switch to ON
Enabling App Embed
To fully enable the app, the app embed in the theme editor should be enabled as well. To do so, please follow the steps below.
Go to the Shopify Admin → Online Store
Themes → Customize → App Embeds
Toggle the switch for Tydal Reviews → Save
Adding App Blocks
In rare cases, the app blocks for the star rating and the review widget are not added to the product template and this is the reason why the onsite displays are not showing on the site. To add the app blocks to your product template, please follow the steps below.
Go to the Shopify Admin → Online Store
Themes → Customize and select the Product Template
Click Add block → Apps
Select Tydal Review Star and Tydal Reviews Widget
Drag and drop the block where you want it to be places
Save
