Formatting and blocks are only compatible with the following formats: Atomic Essay, Deck, and Blog Post.

Adding a Block

Blocks include:

  • Headings

  • Lists

  • Images

  • Dividers

  • Text

To insert a block, select the line you want to add it to, and press the "+" icon or type "/". This will open the block insert menu:

To insert a block, simply click on the block or search for a block by typing and select it by pressing enter/return.

You can also use markdown shortcuts to add new blocks:

# H1

## H2

### H3

- Bullet list

1. Numbered List

- Divider

Formatting Text

To format some text, select the text you want to format and a hover menu will appear. In this menu, you have access to:

  • Bold (CMD+B)

  • Italics (CMD+I)

  • Inline code

  • Highlighting

  • Adding a link

  • Or changing the block type

You can also use common keyboard shortcuts to access these formatting options - like CMD+B for bolding or CMD+I for italics.
