What’s a Image Hotspot Task?
A Image Hotspot task is an activity where the player is expected to click on certain parts of a image or a series of pictures.
The task UI can be opened by either clicking on a button or clicking on someone/something (Choose a target in the scene editor).
Define the Images
In Images section, click on the +Image button to add an image for the task. Each image would be a step of the activity, so you could simulate a process if you add a series of images.
Image
Select the image from the dropdown. Make sure to upload your images first.
Image Title
You can give the image (step) a title if you’d like. If filled, the title would be shown to players in the game.
Assessability
If an image step is not assess-able, the player’s clicks can not be incorrect. Anything you specifically define would be considered relevant and correct, and any other clicks would be irrelevant. The player will have to click on all relevant hotspots to complete the task.
If a image step is assess-able, each of the player’s clicks can be considered correct, neutral or incorrect, in addition to irrelevant. The player will have to click on all correct hotspots to complete the task.
Define the Hot Spots (Interactive Areas) and Feedback
Define Shapes of Hot Spots
Directly click on the image to create a shape that defines an interactive area. There are multiple tools that can be utilized to quickly create various of shapes.

Assessment and Feedback
Below the image, remember to choose how the click is assessed (if applicable) and the feedback the player is going to receive.
Add/Remove an Answer
Click on the “+” button to add a new answer. A new tab will appear once you do so. You can switch between editing different answers by clicking on the tabs. Click on the “trash can” button to delete the currently active tab and the correlated answer.
Multiple Areas in the Same Answer
If there are multiple separate areas the player can click on that will be considered the same, simply close your first area, then click somewhere else to create another area.
