What’s a Picture Click Task?

A Picture Click task is an activity where the player is expected to click on certain parts of a picture or a series of pictures.

The task UI can be opened by either clicking on a button or clicking on someone/something (Choose a target in the scene editor).

Define Pictures

In Pictures section, click on the +Picture button to add a picture for the task. Each picture would be a step of the activity, so you could simulate a process if you add a series of pictures.

Image

Select the image from the dropdown. Make sure to upload your images first.

Image Title

You can give the picture (step) a title if you’d like. If filled, the title would be shown to players in the game.

Assessability

If a picture step is not assess-able, the player’s clicks can not be incorrect. Anything you specifically define would be considered relevant and correct, and any other clicks would be irrelevant. The player will have to click on all relevant hotspots to complete the task.

If a picture step is assess-able, each of the player’s clicks can be considered correct, neutral or incorrect, in addition to irrelevant. The player will have to click on all correct hotspots to complete the task.

Define Interactive Areas (Hot Spots)

Directly click on the picture to create a polygon that defines an interactive area. Remember to choose how it’s assessed (if applicable) and the feedback the player is going to receive once they click on the area.

Add/Remove an Answer

Click on the “+” button to add a new answer. A new tab will appear once you do so. You can switch between editing different answers by clicking on the tabs. Click on the “trash can” button to delete the currently active tab and the correlated answer.

Multiple Areas in the Same Answer

If there are multiple separate areas the player can click on that will be considered the same, simply close your first area, then click somewhere else to create another area.
