Get inspiration and quickly create songs from a curated set of Styles

Navigating the Style Library

Style Library sections

  • Discover: An overview of different styles available for you to use

  • Udio: Styles crafted by your very own Udio team members & friends

  • Artists: Styles crafted by top professional musicians, starting with legendary "Dream Theater" keyboardist and composer, Jordan Rudess

  • Your Styles: Styles you've hearted/marked throughout the Udio service

  • Recently Used: Just what it sounds like!

Artist styles are a subscriber-only feature and use 2x the credits per generation; a set of two 32-second songs made from an Artist Style use 4 credits and u-130 (2 minute) song sets use 8 credits.

Style hover (mouse-over) actions

  • Listen to the Style

  • Click the 'heart' to save it to the "Your Styles" section for later reference

  • Click the + to immediately use a Style in a new song creation


Marking, finding, and editing Styles

Save a Style from the Style Library by hovering over the style and clicking the heart icon. These styles will then be available in the "Your Styles" section of the Library

Find any Style -- including ones you've made and saved -- by clicking on the magnifying glass in the top right, and filter down to exactly the Styles you want.

Edit a Style you've saved by accessing it through Styles -> My Styles and clicking on the three dot menu


Submitting your Styles for potential later inclusion in the Style Library

We know that many of you will be creating compelling Styles that other creators might love using!
