Adding a new course to UDisc’s Course Directory can be done at UDisc.com/courses/add or in the app by going to More -> Add New Course.
If a course is already in UDisc’s directory but is missing a layout, a new layout should be created rather than submitting a new course.
Step 1: General
Start by providing some general details about the course, such as:
Course name
Course location
Headline
Description
Number of holes
Step 2: Availability
Let people know when they can play.
Does your course have dedicated and/or permanently installed disc golf targets?
Is the course under construction?
When is the course available for play?
Use this space to indicate if it's a temporary, special events or seasonal course!
3. Access
Tell players who can visit and play your course. This will determine how it's displayed in the app.
Everyone - This course will be visible on the public facing list and map.
Limited - This course will be visible to anyone that hasn't filtered out Limited courses.
Invite Only - This course will be hidden on the map and in the list, but can be located if searched for by name.
This section provides the opportunity to indicate any costs associated with playing and/or parking, contact information if needed, and accessibility details. Let people know if your course is playable for those with limited mobility.
Courses available to Everyone must have at least 3 permanently installed targets and be accessible to the public.
4. Details
Tell players what to expect when they get to the course.
How many holes, tees, and targets are installed?
What are your tees made of?
What kinds of targets or baskets do you have?
What amenities are available?
Provide as much detail as possible to help players find your course!
5. Review
Double check your work and if everything looks correct, Submit your new course!
All new courses are reviewed and approved by the UDisc Team. Approvals can take up to 24-48 hours, but are typically approved much sooner.
If your new course submission was rejected, it is likely due to one of these common reasons:
It's a duplicate - if being submitted in the same location as an existing one.
Proximity to another active course may cause a rejection. Be sure to check the area's existing courses.
If you don't see the existing course on the map or list, it may be private or invite-only, and will need to be searched for by name.
Not enough information - Headline, details, and access information must be filled out completely. If players need to contact you to play, ensure your contact information is clearly listed.
It doesn't qualify as a publicly listed course and should be submitted as Invite Only.
The email you received should list additional information about why a course was not approved. But if you are unsure, reply to the email, and we'll be happy to help!
If the rejection is due to proximity:
Double-check nearby courses in UDisc to confirm if duplicate submissions might exist.
If submitted for an entirely different property or to replace a closed course, provide clear details about its uniqueness or the operational status of the older course.
If the existing course has changed drastically and you're looking to start over, be sure to explain the changes clearly when reaching out to the team.
