Repositioning tees and targets can only be done on the Map Manager, and is not possible on the Layout Builder.
To reposition manually
Access your Map Manager via your Course Tools (at udisc.com/dashboard)
Tap on the target or tee pad icon on the map and tap Reposition.
Relocate the tee or target to the correct position.
Tap Confirm placement after moving the tee or target.
Use your GPS location to set the positions
Access your Map Manager on your mobile device while at the course.
Tap on the target or tee pad icon on the map and tap Reposition.
Tap Use my location in the upper-left to have your phone’s GPS hone in on the right spot (on the pole of a basket, or at the front center of the tee).
Tap Confirm placement after moving the tee or target.
Use GPS coordinates
If the satellite image isn’t super clear or you already have precise latitude and longitude coordinates for tee pads and target positions, you can input the coordinates directly after you have placed the tee or target. If the new location exceeds 30 feet from the original position, the system will automatically reset the hole’s stats to maintain their reliability and relevance.
Tap on the tee or target you wish to update.
Tap Edit and then scroll down on the right-hand side panel to Advanced Settings.
Enter your coordinates and tap Save.
Effects of Positional Changes on Statistics
When you reposition a tee or target in UDisc, the app determines whether your stats for that hole should reset based on specific criteria, including if the tee/target is moving more than 30 ft/50 km from the original position.
Repositioning a tee or target over 30 feet is not recommended, and will reset your stats on that hole. You can learn more about resetting stats here. The distance threshold of 30 feet ensures that the statistics remain relevant to the updated hole layout, maintaining consistency and accuracy in recorded data.
