How to create a Customer

All customers must be registered and approved before they can transact. Here's how to create one.

Steps

  1. Go to the Customers section in the dashboard

  2. Click New Customer (or create via API)

  3. Select whether you are registering an Individual or a Business

  4. Enter the required customer information

  5. Submit and wait for the KYC/KYB response

Once approved, the customer can be selected as the source of funds in transactions and can seamlessly transfer stablecoins or fiat currencies between wallets and bank accounts.


Required information

For individuals:

  • First and last name

  • Email and phone number

  • Date of birth

  • Document country and type

  • Document number

  • Address (postal code, country, state, city, address line)

For businesses:

  • Business legal name

  • Email and phone number

  • Document country and type

  • Document number

  • Address (postal code, country, state, city, address line)


KYC/KYB review

After submission, UnblockPay will process the verification automatically. The status will update in the dashboard once the review is complete. You can also listen for status updates via webhook.
