We understand that plans can change. To keep things fair for both learners and mentors, UNI Learn follows clear rules for cancellations, rescheduling, and missed sessions.
1. Cancellation Policy
Lessons & Mentor Subscriptions
You can cancel a booked lesson without charge if you do so at least 12 hours before the scheduled start time.
Cancellations made after the deadline will be charged in full.
If your mentor cancels a lesson at any time, you will not be charged.
Learning Projects
Once purchased, Learning Projects cannot be cancelled or refunded, regardless of whether the project has started.
Please review the project description, schedule, and language before purchase to ensure it meets your needs.
2. Rescheduling Policy
Lessons
You can reschedule a booked lesson if you do so at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
Requests made after this period may be treated as a late cancellation and charged accordingly.
Projects
If your project involves scheduled mentor sessions, those follow the same rescheduling rules as lessons.
3. No-Show & Late Arrival Policy
Learner No-Show
If you do not join a booked Zoom session within 15 minutes of the start time without rescheduling at least 12 hours in advance, it will be considered a no-show and charged in full.
No-shows cannot be rescheduled.
Learner Late Arrival
If you are late, your mentor will wait up to 15 minutes.
If you arrive within this time, the lesson will proceed but will end at the original scheduled time.
After 15 minutes, it will be marked as a no-show, and the mentor will decide how to handle the remainder of the time.
Instructor Late Arrival
If your mentor is late, please wait 15 minutes if your schedule allows.
The mentor must ensure the full lesson duration is completed.
If they cannot make up the lost time during the same session, they will coordinate with you to find a suitable solution.
If your mentor is more than 15 minutes late, please report it to UNI. You will not be charged, and UNI will take steps to address the issue.
4. How to Cancel or Reschedule
Go to your Dashboard → Upcoming Lessons
Select the booking you wish to change
Click Cancel or Reschedule and follow the prompts
You’ll receive a confirmation email for any changes
💡 Tip: Always confirm your availability and project details before booking — purchased Learning Projects cannot be cancelled or refunded.
