Your learner profile is more than just a page — it’s your first introduction to mentors and all members in the community.
A well-filled profile helps them understand your needs, schedule, and background, so they can design lessons and projects that fit you perfectly.

Step 1: Access Your Profile Settings

  1. Log in to your UNI account.

  2. Click your profile picture or name (top right corner).

  3. Select “Profile” from the menu.

Step 2: Add a Profile Photo

  • Choose a clear, friendly photo of yourself.

  • This helps mentors recognize and connect with you during lessons.

Step 3: Write Your Introduction

  • Share a short self-introduction (50–100 words).

  • You can include:

    • What you want to learn and why

    • Your current skills or experience

    • Fun facts or hobbies for a personal touch

Example:

“Hi, I’m Alex from Hong Kong! I want to improve my business English for international meetings. I’m interested in leadership and technology, and I enjoy hiking on weekends.”

Step 4: Select Your Learning Interests

  • Browse UNI’s learning categories (languages, business, creativity, technology, lifestyle, etc.).

  • Choose the topics you’re most excited about — these will help our system recommend mentors and projects to you.

Step 5: Define Your Learning Goals

  • Set clear and specific objectives (e.g., “Speak confidently in English meetings within 6 months” or “Build a personal website by July”).

  • These goals help your mentor prepare lessons and track your progress.

Step 6: Save Your Changes

  • Once you’ve added your photo, introduction, and goals, click “Save” to update your profile.

  • You can edit your profile anytime as your goals or interests change.

💡 Pro Tip:
Completing your learner profile increases your chances of finding the perfect mentor and project match — and makes your first lesson more productive.
