The Project Builder is UNI Learn’s tool that helps you design, organize, and launch your own learning project.
Whether you want to learn a new skill, complete a personal challenge, or work on a portfolio piece, the Project Builder will guide you step-by-step.

1. Access the Project Builder

  • Log in to your UNI Learn account.

  • Go to your Dashboard and click Project Builder.

2. Define Your Project Goal

  • Be specific: What do you want to achieve?

  • Examples:

    • “Build a personal website from scratch”

    • “Write and illustrate a short children’s book”

    • “Prepare for an English job interview”

💡 Tip: Use the SMART approach — Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound.

3. Choose Your Project Category

  • Select from UNI Learn’s learning categories (e.g., Language, Business, Technology, Creativity, Lifestyle).

  • This will help potential mentors and collaborators understand your focus.

4. Break Down Your Project into Milestones

  • Add milestones or steps that move you closer to your goal.

  • For each milestone:

    • Give it a clear title

    • Add a description of what needs to be done

    • Set an estimated completion date

5. Add Resources and References

  • Include any materials, links, or tools you plan to use.

  • Your mentor can also suggest additional resources later.

6. Select a Mentor to Collaborate With

  • Search for mentors whose skills match your project.

  • Share your project draft with them via messaging.

  • Adjust the plan together before you start.

7. Finalize and Start

  • Once you and your mentor agree on the plan, mark the project as Active.

  • Begin working through your milestones, tracking progress directly in the Project Builder.

8. Track Progress and Update

  • Tick off milestones as you complete them.

  • Update your mentor on your progress regularly.

  • Adjust timelines or tasks if your goals evolve.

💡 Pro Tip: The more detailed your project plan, the easier it will be for your mentor to guide you — and the more satisfying it will be to see your progress over time.
