On UNI Learn, you can use the platform in the way that works best for you.
You can start with free basic features, upgrade your platform subscription for more tools, and — if you wish — subscribe to a mentor for ongoing guidance.

    • Create a learner account and set up your profile

    • Browse mentors and projects

    • Join free resources and open community content

2. Mentor Subscription (Optional)

  • You don’t need to have a mentor to use UNI Learn — many learners work entirely on self-directed projects.

  • If you’d like personal guidance, you can subscribe to a mentor for ongoing sessions or project support.

  • Mentor subscriptions are:

    • Linked to a specific mentor you choose

    • Billed on a recurring basis (frequency set by the mentor)

    • Flexible — you can start, pause, or cancel according to your learning needs

  • The mentor’s subscription price, schedule, and included services are shown clearly on their profile or project page.

3. How They Work Together

  • Your platform subscription gives you access to the tools and features you need to manage your learning experience.

  • A mentor subscription provides regular, personalized guidance and feedback from a specific mentor.

  • You can:

    • Use the platform entirely for self-directed learning without a mentor

    • Work with one mentor while using the platform’s tools

    • Work with multiple mentors, each with their own subscription, while managing everything through your platform account

4. Example Scenarios

  • Scenario 1: You’re working on your own writing project using the Project Builder — no mentor subscription needed.

  • Scenario 2: You have a platform subscription and also subscribe to a mentor for weekly language lessons.

  • Scenario 3: You subscribe to two different mentors — one for business coaching, one for design skills — and manage both through your platform subscription.

💡 Tip: Many learners mix approaches — enjoying self-guided learning on the platform while working with a mentor for specific goals or challenges.
