Mentor Code of Conduct

As a UNI Learn mentor, you play a key role in building a safe, respectful, and effective learning environment.

These guidelines ensure a positive experience for both you and your learners.

1. Keep It Professional

  • Communicate clearly, respectfully, and on time.

  • Be prepared for sessions and respect agreed start and end times.

  • Maintain professional boundaries at all times.


2. Respect Learner Privacy

  • Do not request or share personal contact information (phone numbers, email, social media handles, etc.).

  • All communication must take place on the UNI Learn platform.

  • Follow all applicable privacy and data protection laws.


3. No Off-Platform Payments

  • All transactions must be processed through UNI Learn.

  • Off-platform payments are strictly prohibited.

  • If a learner requests this, report it to UNI Learn immediately.


4. Support Learner-Centered Mentorship

  • Encourage learners to set their own goals and take ownership of their learning.

  • Provide guidance, feedback, and resources to help them progress.

  • Avoid relying solely on one-size-fits-all lesson materials unless requested by the learner.


5. Cultural Respect & Inclusivity

  • Be mindful of cultural differences, learning styles, and diverse backgrounds.

  • Create an inclusive, supportive environment for all learners.


6. Reporting Issues

  • If you encounter inappropriate behavior, harassment, or attempts to bypass platform rules, report it to UNI Learn immediately.

  • Failure to follow this Code of Conduct may result in account suspension or permanent removal from the platform.
