UNI Learn offers multiple ways for mentors to earn income—through mentorship sessions and Learning Project sales.
1. Payout Schedule & Methods
Payout Window – You can withdraw your available balance between the 15th and 25th of each month.
Payment Method – Payouts are processed through PayPal (other methods may be added in the future).
Processing Time – Transfers are typically completed within a few business days, depending on your payment provider.
2. Commission Model
A. Mentorship Sessions
Commission rates are tiered based on your monthly gross income from online sessions:

💡 Special Rates – UNI admins may offer select mentors custom commission rates under specific conditions.
Trial Lessons – Commission rate is 100% (mentors are not paid for these sessions). Earnings are reinvested in marketing, platform development, and maintenance.
B. Learning Project Sales
A flat 30% platform commission applies to all project sales.
Earnings from project sales are added to your account balance and follow the same withdrawal schedule as session earnings.
3. Fees & Currency
Withdrawal Fee – 1% applies to all withdrawals.
Currency Conversion – Third-party payment providers may charge additional fees (typically ~2%) for currency exchange.
USD Transactions – All UNI Learn payments are processed in USD.
4. Initial Deposit & Penalties
Deposit Hold – The first $20 you earn is held as a deposit.
Late or Missed Lessons – If you are over 10 minutes late or miss a class without notice, $5 will be deducted from your deposit and paid to the learner.
Depleted Deposit – If your deposit balance reaches $0, another $20 will be held once your total balance exceeds $20. If the deposit is $0, your profile will be hidden from new learners for one month (you can still teach existing students).
5. Payment Release Process
Learners confirm lessons after completion.
If they do not confirm:
A reminder email is sent after 24 hours.
The system auto-confirms after 72 hours if no disputes are reported.
Mentors are paid only after confirmation or auto-confirmation.
6. Tax Responsibilities
UNI Learn does not withhold taxes.
You are responsible for reporting and paying taxes according to the laws in your country of residence and any other applicable jurisdictions.
