Payments & Subscription Rules

To ensure fairness, transparency, and safety for both learners and mentors, all payments activities on UNI Learn follow these rules.

1. On-Platform Payments Only

  • All payments for mentorship sessions and Learning Projects must be processed through UNI Learn.

  • Off-platform payments are strictly prohibited for your safety and to ensure proper record-keeping.

  • If a learner requests to pay you directly, report it immediately to UNI Learn Support.

  • Violations may result in account suspension or permanent removal.


2. Learner Platform Subscriptions

  • Subscription Plans – Learners can choose between free, Plus, or Pro plans.

  • Monthly Renewal – Subscriptions renew automatically to ensure uninterrupted learning.

  • Mid-Month Starts – Subscription costs are adjusted for the number of full weeks remaining in the month.

  • Lesson Allowance

    • 1 lesson/week = 4 lessons per month

    • 2 lessons/week = 8 lessons per month

  • Extra Lessons – Learners may purchase additional lessons anytime within their subscription period.

  • Cancellation – Learners can cancel anytime via their dashboard. Refunds for unused lessons are issued as UNI credits.


3. Mentor Subscriptions (Optional)

  • Mentors can use UNI Learn for free.

  • Optional paid mentor subscription plans offer extra features, such as advanced project customization, enhanced profile exposure, or additional tools for learner engagement.


4. Refund Rules

  • Learning Projects – Once purchased, projects cannot be cancelled or refunded. Learners should review all details before buying.

  • Mentorship Sessions – Refunds are issued only if the session is cancelled according to policy or due to mentor no-show.

  • Subscriptions – Refunds for unbooked lessons in an active subscription are provided as UNI credits.


5. Payment Confirmation Process

  • Learners confirm each lesson after completion.

  • If they do not confirm:

    • A reminder email is sent after 24 hours.

    • The lesson is auto-confirmed after 72 hours.

  • Payments are released to mentors after confirmation or auto-confirmation.


💡 Tip: Keeping all payments and communication on-platform protects you from disputes and ensures timely payouts.
