In short: non-accredited and non-professional investors can invest via Uniborn SPVs, provided that they are:

  1. aware of the associated risks, and

  2. not residents of these countries:

Afghanistan

Belarus

Iran

Myanmar

North Korea

Russia Federation

Syria

Uganda

Vanuatu

Yemen

Residents of these countries who also have residency and a bank account in a non-restricted country are offered to go through manual checks to be able to invest via Uniborn.

Also, some other countries fall into our high-risk list, which means that residents of those countries also go through manual checks.

It is important to be aware that investing on private markets is not suitable for everyone. You may not be able to sell your investments for more than 5-7 years and you may lose 100% of your invested capital.

You should never invest in this asset class more than you can afford to lose.
