When you’re invited by your university to become a Student Ambassador, you’ll receive an email asking you to set up your Unibuddy Ambassador profile. 🎉

As part of this setup, you’ll be asked to choose whether you’re an Undergraduate or a Postgraduate student.

Why is this important?

Your choice here determines what shows up in the Previous Qualification section of your profile (just below Favourite Courses). This makes sure your profile reflects the right academic background for prospective students.

  • If you select Undergraduate → You’ll see qualifications relevant to undergrad students.
Examples: High School Diploma, 14–19 Diploma, American High School Diploma

  • If you select Postgraduate → You’ll see qualifications relevant to postgrad students.
Examples: Bachelor of Laws (LLB), BSc (Bachelor of Science)

How this choice affects the Unibuddy Chat platform

Your selection of Undergraduate or Postgraduate doesn’t just shape your profile - it also determines how you appear in your university’s main Unibuddy Chat Platform.

👉 Example:
If you select Undergraduate, you’ll be grouped together with other Undergraduate Ambassadors in the Widget.

If you select Postgraduate, you’ll show up alongside other Postgraduate Ambassadors.

This way, prospective students can easily find and connect with Ambassadors who share a similar study level. 🎓
