To guide you through the process, you can watch the tutorial video or read the article below.

Access Unify Social

Start by accessing the dashboard and selecting Social on the left side navigation menu or by clicking the Access Dashboard button located beneath the Unify Social logo on your dashboard’s main home page.

By default, when you click on Unify Social, you will be directed to the Linked Accounts page which you can also access through the Linked Accounts tab that appears on the navigation menu.

Connect Your Social Media Accounts

Ready to get started? Follow the steps below!

  1. Click the Connect button on the platform you need to link. In the example below, the LinkedIn Personal account hasn’t been connected yet — that’s why the Connect button is visible and ready to use.

  2. You will be directed to the selected account's login page. Log in to the account to connect our Unify Social. For Facebook, ensure you’re listed as an Admin or Manager, and that all necessary permissions are enabled.

You can now proceed to update your Queue Settings.

Queue Settings

Once you’ve successfully linked your accounts, it’s time to update your Queue settings to ensure your content is posted on your preferred schedule.

  1. From the Linked Accounts section, click the Queue Settings button for the platform you want to adjust.

  2. A new window will appear where you can add or modify your posting schedule. Set the posting time per day by typing in the time directly or choosing from the timetable that appears when you click the clock icon. Hit the Add Time button after setting your schedule. You can schedule posts up to twice per day. To remove a schedule, simply click the Trash/Delete icon.

  3. Don’t forget to Save your changes.

Additionally, be sure to select the correct time zone from the upper right-hand corner of your Linked Accounts page.

Congratulations, you're all set to create and automate social media posts directly from your Unify Social dashboard!

Refresh Your Social Media Account Connection

Sometimes, even if your account appears connected to the Unify Social dashboard, the social media platform itself may restrict or disable access in the background. When this happens, Unify Social is unable to publish your scheduled content. This is a common safeguard used by different social channels to protect your account. It typically occurs when:

  • Your access token has expired

  • There’s been a security update on the platform

  • You’ve changed your password or updated account permissions

To restore full functionality, you'll need to disconnect and reconnect the affected account in your Unify Social dashboard. Here's how:

Step 1: Disconnect the Account

  1. In your Linked Accounts section, click the Disconnect button next to the account.

  2. A confirmation pop-up will appear — click Yes, Deactivate.

  3. You’ll see a message confirming that the account has been successfully disconnected.

Step 2: Reconnect the Account

  1. After disconnecting, the Connect button will appear again.

  2. Click Connect to reauthorize and reconnect the same account.

  3. You’ll be redirected to the social platform’s login page. Log in and grant permission to complete the reconnection.
